New Career Wins Leader Friday, September 29th, 2023 An amazing season for Anthony Atkinson of the So Cal Republic reached its climax today, as the So Cal Republic's starting pitcher set the league record for most wins in a single season with 25, passing the great Maurice Gould. Fans at House of the Republic gave him a long ovation after the game had ended and the hurler was pushed back onto the field by his teammates for a curtain call. This year Atkinson has registered 25 wins and 2 losses in 32 starts with a 2.84 ERA while registering 195 strikeouts and 27 walks in 209 innings. |
