Magee Gets 5 Hits Wednesday, September 20th, 2023 The Danger were defeated 17-11 today at Panthers Park by the Mafia, but you can't say Chris Magee didn't give it his best try. The Danger shortstop came to the plate 5 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Magee and a tough day for Duke City. "I just go up there and swing away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." No plan or not, Magee delivered today... 5-5 is outstanding in any league. Chris Magee doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far in 2023 Magee is batting .253 with 29 home runs, 78 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has 99 hits in 391 at-bats and a .323 OBP. |
