Bad News for Seattle, Jones Injured Thursday, September 7th, 2023 The Seattle Sasquatch were dealt a severe blow when Lee Jones was hurt making a defensive play recently in a game against the Pax River Psychos. After the game, the team trainer reported Jones might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 26-year-old center fielder out for the rest of the season with a broken bone in the elbow. They indicated it would take Jones at least 7 months to heal. To date this year Jones is batting .298 with 6 home runs. |
