RCL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Friday, September 1st, 2023 Tokutomi Kogawa's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Montreal first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In August he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .319 with 2 doubles, 2 triples and 4 home runs. Kogawa also scored 18 times and drove in 19 runs. Kogawa is presently hitting at a .349 pace with 9 home runs and 39 RBIs. He has played in 53 games and scored 32 times. |
