Texans-Danger Trade Announced Monday, July 31st, 2023 Today at a press conference the Dallas Texans announced a trade has been completed with the Duke City Danger. The Texans have shipped 30-year-old left fielder Katsuhiko Yamamoto and $4,000,000 in cash to the Danger for 29-year-old reliever Jesús Ortíz and 37-year-old reliever Gary Payne. Yamamoto on the season is batting .219 with 8 home runs. His totals include 34 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has played in 66 games. This season Payne has been credited with 5 saves. In 37 relief appearances and 45.1 innings he has a 1-5 won-lost mark, a 4.96 ERA and 32 strikeouts. |
