Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Thompson Friday, July 28th, 2023 Pat Thompson collected 3 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Portland Beavers, beat Kansas City 10-5. After the ballgame, Thompson quipped to a BNN reporter, "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball. I'm pretty excited how things are clicking." Pat Thompson walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this season Thompson is batting .374 with 12 home runs, 48 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has 127 hits in 340 at-bats, 32 walks and a .426 OBP. Thompson has played in 86 games. |
