TML Names Top Player of the Week Monday, July 3rd, 2023 At the age of 28, Ron Verity might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Jersey third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .455 batting average. For his efforts Verity collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 6 games. Thus far in 2023 Verity is hitting .321 with 19 home runs, 54 RBIs, 47 runs scored and has compiled a .396 OBP. |
