Glover Swats 3 HR Against Cabo San Lucas Sunday, May 7th, 2023 Cabo San Lucas won't soon forget the display of raw power put on today by Chris Glover of the Seattle Sasquatch. He victimized the Toreros by pounding three pitches out of Field de Los Layendas. The homers sparked his club to a 11-2 win and got him a spot in the league record book. "I got three pitches down the pipe and popped them," Glover told reporters. "Today I was in a groove ... tomorrow I could just pop up the same pitches and go oh-for-three." In addition to the homers, he collected 4 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Chris Glover hit a solo-shot off Phoenix Smith in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Phoenix Smith in the 4th, walked in a run in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off José Delgado in the 9th. This year Glover is batting .326 with 10 home runs. |
