McCarthy's Strong Week Earns TML Trophy Monday, May 1st, 2023 26-year-old Todd McCarthy sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, McCarthy made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .393 average, 11 hits in 28 at-bats, 6 home runs and 12 RBI. Where the Kansas City Tornadoes right fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but McCarthy certainly made his mark last week. This year McCarthy is batting .266 with 9 home runs and 20 RBIs. In 26 games he has scored 18 times. |
