Portland Reliever Hurt Sunday, April 30th, 2023 After the end of today's game between Portland and Pax River, Larry Foley skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, the Beavers had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The reliever will miss at least 10-11 months with a stretched elbow ligament. For the year Foley has saved 1 games while posting an ERA of 5.02 and 10 strikeouts in 14.1 innings. His totals also include a 1-3 record in 12 relief appearances. |
