Hops Deal Morton to Sasquatch for Gamboa Monday, March 6th, 2023 The rumor has been out there for a while now and today it was made official. The San Diego Hops have sent 30-year-old catcher Chris Morton, 21-year-old minor league reliever Georgie Levin and 27-year-old minor league reliever Edgar Pérez to the Seattle Sasquatch for 29-year-old second baseman Carlos Gamboa. His career numbers show Morton has batted .305 and collected 315 hits, 30 home runs and 149 RBIs. During his career Gamboa has hit .248 with 283 hits, 15 home runs, 138 RBIs and scored 146 runs. |
