So Cal Republic Hurler RCL's Premier Pitcher Tuesday, November 8th, 2022 The So Cal Republic have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's José Gallegos, this year's Roberto Clemente League Cy Young Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Gallegos compiled a 19-4 record in 33 starts, tallied 203 strikeouts in 196 innings and recorded a 3.17 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .257 batting average against him.Tom O'Day of the Duke City Danger finished second in voting, while Kinnosuke Sato of the Montreal Bandits finished third. |
