Manglorkar Tags Mafia for 5 Hits Saturday, October 8th, 2022 Abalendu Manglorkar of the Republic was unstoppable in today's 12-6 victory over the New York Mafia at Don Corleone Park. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the So Cal shortstop after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-5 will." Abalendu Manglorkar hit a two-run double in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Woody Owen in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. So far this season Manglorkar has hit .310 with 25 home runs, 116 RBIs and and scored 100 times. |
