Holmes Tops TML in BA, HRs, RBIs -- Triple Crown Monday, October 3rd, 2022 When it came to hitting the baseball, Nick Holmes had few peers in the Thurman Munson League this year. The gifted center fielder for Portland led the league in hitting, home runs, and runs batted in to capture the 2nd Triple Crown in ABL history. He put up a .384 average, 43 home runs, and 147 RBIs during the 2022 campaign. A truly historic performance. Speaking to reporters, Holmes said, "I'd be happy to lead the league in just one of these categories. To win all three makes this an extra special season." |
