In the Beavers 8-7 win over Cabo San Lucas, Pat Bancroft was red-hot today, scorching them for hit after hit at Waterfront Park. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax. I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I must admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for a 7-hit game. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." On his big day Bancroft delivered 7 hits in 9 at-bats. Pat Bancroft struck out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 11th, singled in the 13th, singled in the 15th and grounded out in the 17th. So far this season Bancroft has hit .328 with 17 home runs, 90 RBIs and and scored 105 times. |
