Earthquakes Pitching Ravaged by van Cleave Sunday, September 25th, 2022 Harry van Cleave was on fire today and sparked his club to a 9-1 victory over the Earthquakes. The Jersey center fielder was a tough out and went 5 for 5 against San Francisco in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody... and some days they fall in." Harry van Cleave hit a solo-shot off Matt Quinlan in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th and singled in the 8th. In the current season, van Cleave has put up a .310 batting average with 154 hits, 32 home runs, 91 runs batted in and scored 79 runs. |
