South Carolina RF David Lewis Injured Sunday, September 18th, 2022 The South Carolina Bombers were dealt a severe blow when David Lewis was hurt making a defensive play recently in a game against the Kansas City Tornadoes. After the game, the team trainer reported Lewis might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 28-year-old right fielder out for the rest of the season with a hamstring strain. They indicated it would take Lewis at least 6 weeks to heal. To date this season Lewis is hitting .296 with 36 home runs. |
