Ramón Rivera Suffers Injury Friday, July 29th, 2022 The South Carolina Bombers will lose the services of reliever Ramón Rivera after he sustained a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in today's game against the Maple Marauders. "I'll get through it," Rivera said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 13 months. Taking a look at his season stats for 2022, Rivera has made 31 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 2-0 won-lost mark with a 5.55 ERA. In pitching 48.2 innings, he has totaled 52 strikeouts and 15 walks. |
