Jacks Sherrill Down with Injury Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Kelsey Sherrill of the Jacks knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Maple Marauders while running the bases. Because of a strained oblique, the Jacksonville third baseman is expected to miss 6 weeks. Sherrill was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." This year Sherrill is hitting .300 with 102 hits, 8 home runs, 56 RBIs and has scored 60 runs. |
