Free-for-All Costs Kim Jr. and Seow 2-Game Suspensions Thursday, July 7th, 2022 Yesterday at House of the Republic Jong-min Kim Jr. and Pu-feng Seow got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the So Cal Republic and Washington Federals. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified both ballclubs that Kim Jr. and Seow would be given 2-game suspensions for fighting. Kim Jr. is batting .278 with 19 home runs and 53 RBIs this season. On his stats sheet this season Seow shows a 5-5 record, 15 starts, 76 innings, 42 strikeouts and a 3.67 ERA. |
