Hit Streak Now at 20 for Baba Friday, July 1st, 2022 Masaki Baba's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Las Vegas right fielder smacked 1 hit against Jacksonville in today's game at Lucky 7 Ballpark to extend it, but he has mixed emotions about it. After losing to the Jacksonville Jacks, Baba told reporters, "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose." Masaki Baba singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and grounded out in the 8th. In 2022 Baba has hit at a .347 clip with 107 hits, 16 home runs, 60 RBIs and has scored 59 times. |
