Rocher Gets 5 Hits Saturday, June 18th, 2022 It was a good day for the Texans at Metroplex Park as they clipped the Kansas City Tornadoes 10-4. It was tremendous day for Victor Rocher, who went on quite a hitting spree with a 5 for 5 barrage. The Dallas second baseman told reporters after his big 5-hit performance, "I don't have any buzz words. I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' as they say. As far as the hitting goes, I try to keep it simple. I try not to look into it too much. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then try to hit it. Today I picked up the spin very well." Victor Rocher hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a three-run double in the 8th. Rocher is hitting .345 this year with 2 home runs, 23 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 82 hits in 238 at-bats, 25 walks and a .412 on-base percentage. Rocher has played in 56 games. |
