League KO's Patriots-Mustangs Players with 5-Game Suspensions Wednesday, June 8th, 2022 If there wasn't a history between Steve McGowan of Manhatten Beach and Cédric Leroux of Mile High, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 5 games as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," McGowan said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." This year McGowan has hit at a .345 clip with 77 hits, 19 home runs, 44 RBIs and 43 runs scored. To date this season Leroux is 3-5 with 13 starts and an ERA of 6.38 with 59 strikeouts in 66.1 innings. |
