Toyoda Wins TML Player of the Week Prize Monday, June 6th, 2022 The Thurman Munson League has selected its Player of the Week. The honor went to Akio Toyoda, first baseman of the Kansas City Tornadoes. In a standout performance, he lit up the league with a .452 average to win the award. Toyoda went 14-31 for the week, totaled 2 home runs with 10 RBIs and scored 6 times. Currently Toyoda is batting .325 with 17 home runs and 52 RBIs. |
