TML Selects Rookie Star of the Month Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 Todd McCarthy's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Kansas City right fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In May he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .324 with 6 doubles, no triples and 6 home runs. McCarthy also scored 16 times and drove in 20 runs. So far this season, McCarthy has recorded a .324 batting average with 68 hits, 12 home runs, 42 RBIs, 33 runs scored and a .361 OBP. |
