Brown 5-5 for Minnesota
Tuesday, May 17th, 2022
After the Minnesota 6-4 loss to New York and his 5-hit day left fielder Bob Brown told reporters, "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school, or college ball. Two hits in a game is very good, three or four hits even better, five or more are out of sight ... and if it is in pro ball, it is really something special. It will get you in the record books, but you won't necessarily win the ballgame." The 29-year-old player got into the record book today with a spectacular 5 for 5 game against the New York Mafia. The skipper of the Berserkers spoke glowingly of Brown, telling BNN writers, "His swing is getting there. We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Bob did that to perfection today. I just wish some more of our players swung the bat as good as him. We might have won the game." Bob Brown doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd,
singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 9th.

So far in 2022 Brown is batting .358 with 4 home runs, 25 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has 53 hits in 148 at-bats and a .401 OBP.
