Duke City, Seattle Trade Made Monday, May 16th, 2022 The Duke City Danger have finalized a deal that will send 21-year-old minor league starting pitcher Olivier Martin, 26-year-old right fielder Javier Cháves, 28-year-old starting pitcher Rob Young and 20-year-old reliever Ch'ang-chieh Tann to Seattle for 33-year-old left fielder Steve Frend. Minor details still need to be worked out before the trade becomes official, but the players involved are expected to be with their new clubs soon. So far this year, Cháves is batting .326 with no home runs and 3 RBIs. In his season totals, Frend has 10 home runs, .404 BA, .506 OBP, 21 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has played in 37 games. |
