Hall Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Wednesday, May 11th, 2022 History in the making. That's what the fans at Labatt Bleue Park got to see today, when Kansas City outplayed the Bandits 7-1. Curt Hall of the Tornadoes came to the plate 5 times and came away with a dynamite day as he exploded for 5 hits against Montreal. In the postgame press conference the Montreal skipper quipped to reporters, "Hey, we tried to get him out. We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the kitchen sink." Curt Hall doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This season Hall has hit at a .342 clip with 20 RBIs, 6 home runs and 21 runs scored. He has played in 30 games. |
