Jokers Chill North's Hot Streak
Tuesday, April 26th, 2022
Kansas City center fielder Oliver North came into today's game against the Las Vegas Jokers on a hot streak. When it was over, the Jokers did their job very well. They beat the Kansas City Tornadoes 8-5 and cooled him off at the same time. Las Vegas stopped North without a hit and his 21-game hitting streak came to an end.

The 27-year-old North only had a few words to say after the game, "I had a chance to do it and I came up short."

His manager commented, "What Oliver did was exciting and quite an achievement. It's tough enough to get one hit in this league, much less go 21 games in a row. I'm really proud of him. And I'm even more proud of the way he handled the press coverage. He never let the frenzy get to him or affect his play."

Currently North is batting .403 with no home runs and 14 RBIs.
