Mustangs, Republic Swap Star Players Saturday, January 29th, 2022 After putting the finishing touches on a blockbuster deal, the Mile High Mustangs and So Cal Republic toasted their success earlier today. The deal involves 32-year-old left fielder Mike Bergeron, 19-year-old minor league starting pitcher He-ping Wang and 21-year-old minor league starting pitcher Gerardo Estrada, who joined the Mustangs in exchange for 26-year-old second baseman Sosa Mizuno and 39-year-old reliever Darryl Bradshaw. In a career spanning 444 games, Mizuno has batted .258 with 434 hits, 42 home runs, 230 RBIs, and 209 runs scored. In his career Bergeron is hitting .304 with 1850 hits, 356 home runs, 1107 runs scored and 1135 RBIs. |
