Setback for Montreal and Mike Barnes Sunday, September 5th, 2021 Montreal left fielder Mike Barnes reportedly suffered a setback this week while rehabilitating a stiff back. Preliminary tests showed the injury has gotten worse and would need more time to be completely healed. An unidentified team official said it looked like it would be at least 4 days before Barnes would be able to return to the active roster. Barnes will see a specialist tomorrow. Barnes is currently batting .344 with 28 home runs, 80 RBIs and 75 runs scored. He has 130 hits in 378 at-bats. |
