Hornets Ramos Suffers Injury Wednesday, August 4th, 2021 Salvador Ramos at first refused to leave today's Maple-Eureka game after he suffered elbow soreness while throwing the ball. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Eureka shortstop said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Ramos out of action for 3 weeks. Currently Ramos is batting .334 with 8 home runs and 39 RBIs. |
