García's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games
Monday, August 2nd, 2021
The streak is alive and well -- at least for today.

Octávio García did it again. He bashed 1 hit in today's game and for the last 20 games in a row has collected at least one hit. The 27-year-old New York first baseman extended his streak as the Mafia beat the Dallas Texans 4-2 at Metroplex Park.
Octávio García grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ralph Whitehead in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and flied out in the 7th.

This year García is batting .326 with 23 home runs and 70 RBIs. In 90 games he has scored 72 times.
