Tornadoes Snap Baba's Streak at 26 Saturday, July 24th, 2021 Lady Luck was not on the side of Masaki Baba or his teammates today at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Everything went the Kansas City Tornadoes way. They not only came away with a 3-0 victory, but also held Baba hitless in 3 at-bats to put an end to the right fielder's 26-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Baba said afterward. "But it'd be much easier to take right now if we had won." Baba is hitting .378 this season with 18 home runs, 75 RBIs and 80 runs scored. He has 155 hits in 410 at-bats. |
