Jacksonville-Jersey Deal: for Dougherty

BNN has learned the Jacksonville Jacks have reportedly worked out a deal with the Jersey Jesters. Sources close to the Jacks indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 19-year-old minor league first baseman Prakoso Kartini and 23-year-old minor league right fielder Wayne Dougherty will be swapped to Jacksonville with nothing heading to Jersey. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized.
