Segura Week's #1 Player Monday, May 31st, 2021 So far in his young career, Júlio Segura has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Thurman Munson League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Las Vegas Jokers catcher hit at a torrid .621 clip as he collected 18 hits in 29 at-bats, 2 home runs, 13 RBIs and 8 runs scored. For the year Segura is batting .412 with 68 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 38 times and driven in 38. |
