José Parra of Seattle apparently doesn't as he battered Cabo San Lucas with a 5-hit outburst in today's game to lead his club to a 11-3 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 5 day... will my name be in the record books now?" José Parra hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Looking at his stats this year, Parra has compiled a .288 batting average, while hitting 2 home runs and driving in 8 runs. He has played in 20 games and scored 6 runs. |
