TML Player of the Week Selected Monday, May 3rd, 2021 At the age of 27, Masaki Baba might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Las Vegas right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .545 batting average. For his efforts Baba collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 6 games. This year Baba has 5 home runs and a .308 batting average. |
