Thursday, March 25th, 2021
The Brooklyn Outlaws were dealt a severe blow when Jim Crawford was hurt throwing the ball recently in a game against the Carolina Crush. After the game, the team trainer reported Crawford might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 33-year-old second baseman out for the rest of the season with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. They indicated it would take Crawford at least 7-8 months to heal.
