Coney Island Left Fielder Nets BOL Award Monday, May 23rd, 2022 Fernando Castillo is respected by most Coney Island Cyclones fans for his no-frills style of play. The 19-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Buck O'Neil League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .480 average (12-25) with 2 home runs, 3 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Castillo is presently hitting at a .340 pace with 3 home runs and 20 RBIs.
