Villa's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 The Golden Eagles 16-year-old first baseman Juan Villa has been on a tear for several weeks and his hitting streak is getting longer. The streak is now at 20 games after he went 1-3 as Tohoku Rakuten got the best of Chiba Lotte 8-5 today at Ballpark of Nasu College. Juan Villa walked in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. This season Villa is batting .450 with 72 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 46 times and has 35 runs batted in. |
