Week's Top Performer Honored by CL Monday, August 9th, 2021 This week Waqar Kharoti, third baseman for the Hanshin Tigers, hit his way to the Central League Player of the Week Award. Kharoti put on a hitting clinic with a .350 average as he belted and battered CL pitchers for 7 hits in 20 at-bats, 5 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 6 runs. So far this year Kharoti has 12 home runs and a .278 batting average. |
