Hanshin's Bintang Named CL's Best Player Monday, June 21st, 2021 Rahmad Bintang seems to put youthful exuberance into every pitch he throws and last week he threw up numbers that even the oldest of veterans would look at with envy. That's why the 18-year-old hurler was chosen the Central League Player of the Week Award. Bintang notched 2 wins for the Hanshin Tigers. He finished the week with 15 strikeouts and an ERA of 0.66 while holding the opposition to a .229 average. So far this year Bintang has a 9-2 record with a 3.33 ERA. |
