Maqbool Wins Best Bat Trophy in May Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 The most recent Central League Batter of the Month trophy was awarded to first baseman Bhasin Maqbool of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. In May he stood head and shoulders above all other batters by hitting .328 with 9 home runs, 21 RBIs and 19 runs scored. For the season Maqbool is hitting .272, batted in 50 runs with 20 home runs and 39 runs scored. |
