Nyuhalov Earns CL Player of the Week Monday, May 24th, 2021 Not every ball that came off Stephen Nyuhalov's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Yomiuri Giants. For his exploits, Nyuhalov was named this week's Central League Player of the Week award. The Yomiuri first baseman put up 13 hits in 33 at-bats and 3 home runs while hitting .394 with 16 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this year Nyuhalov has hit .333 with 14 home runs, 58 RBIs and 38 runs scored. |
