Edmund McDonald Takes Best Bat Trophy Monday, June 14th, 2021 Edmund McDonald of the Calgary Outlaws had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Silver Slugger Award for 2021. The 17-year-old first baseman put up a .406 average and a .502 on-base percentage, piling up 95 hits, 13 doubles, 1 triple, 29 home runs, 73 RBIs and 76 runs scored.Gregg Green of the Niagara Stars finished second in voting, while Wayne Soileau of the Calgary Outlaws finished third. |
