Outlaws Chill Pittman's Hot Streak
Tuesday, March 30th, 2021
The Kelowna Heat lost to the Calgary Outlaws 8-7 today at Brantford College Grounds, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Jon Pittman's 23-game hitting streak.

"We felt if we could slow down Pittman, we would win the game," the Outlaws manager explained after the game. "They really seemed to feed off of his streak, so we really wanted to make sure they had nothing to feed off of."

Thus far this season Pittman is hitting .392 with 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 40 hits in 102 at-bats and has played in 24 games.
