Superb Year For Shepherd, Wins Silver Slugger Award Monday, May 17th, 2021 Kevin Shepherd of the Arkansas Razorbacks had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Silver Slugger Award for 2021. The 19-year-old second baseman put up a .363 average and a .481 on-base percentage, piling up 61 hits, 12 doubles, 2 triples, 15 home runs, 45 RBIs and 35 runs scored.Gary Goodman of the South Illinois Salukis finished second in voting, while Theodore Brennan of the Miami Hurricanes finished third. |
