Streak Finally Over, Goodman Held Hitless Saturday, April 10th, 2021 The 20-game hitting streak of 20-year-old right fielder Gary Goodman came to an end today at Cypress Quarters College Grounds. The Demon Deacans held him hitless in 3 at-bats and also sent the South Illinois Salukis down to defeat 4-3. Goodman is batting at a .382 pace this season, picking up 34 hits in 89 at-bats with 7 home runs, 20 RBIs and 18 runs scored. |
