Thompson Tags Wildcats for 5 Hits Sunday, April 4th, 2021 Long Beach State second baseman Derek Thompson went 5-for-5 today and paced the 49'ers to a 14-9 victory over the Arizona Wildcats at Ballpark of Macclenny College. Derek Thompson singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. Thompson is currently batting .333 with 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has 42 hits in 126 at-bats. |
